南小樽駅から10分少し歩いたところにある『北一硝子』。

まずは、暮らしのガラス雑貨が並ぶ≪北一プラザ≫。こちらではグラスや花器、インテリアなどのガラス製品があります。そのどれもがヨーロッパ風のデザインで、ヨーロピアングラスというそうです。他にも、ネックレスやピアスなどのアクセサリーなどもありますので、お土産選びに最適です。また、誕生石カラーのガラスを使ったアクセサリーを作ってもらうこともできます。2分程であっという間に出来ちゃうので、自分だけのアクセサリーをゲットしちゃいましょう♪
次に、≪クリスタル館≫です。こちらでも先ほど同様、グラスなどが販売されています。その中のオススメが、“ビールジョッキ”です。350ml缶のビールに適したサイズで、綺麗な泡が作れるように計算されたグラスです。グラス部分には模様も施されていてお洒落ですよ。
そして、一番の注目スポットは≪北一硝子三号館≫です。こちらには和・洋・カントリー風と、それぞれのテーマに分かれたガラス製品が並んでいます。これだけの製品が揃っているので、あなたにピッタリの一点がきっと見つかりますよ。さらにここには、167個の石油ランプが灯る≪北一ホール≫という喫茶店もあります。店内はランプの灯りでとっても幻想的。ぜひ、訪れてこの素敵な空間を体験してほしいと思います。
